Together with a team of top engineers and project managers, you work on prestigious industrial and pharmaceutical projects, with innovation and sustainability at the core. Ready to make an impact as a Sales Engineer?

  • You develop and implement commercial strategies to identify and develop new clients.
  • You build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • You lead the sales process from start to finish. This can start with an initial introduction, followed by pre-qualification, drafting quotes, contract negotiations, and closing deals.
  • You work closely with project teams to ensure client expectations are exceeded and projects are successfully completed.
  • You represent Sweco at events, fairs, and networking meetings.
  • You contribute to the development of marketing and communication strategies.
  • You keep up to date with the latest trends and developments within the sector and apply this knowledge to optimize our commercial strategies and strengthen our position in the market.

 

What we seek in a Sales Engineer

  • Experience and expertise: Experience in the engineering sector within the industry; experience in the pharma sector and/or with automation is a plus.
  • Innovative and commercial mindset: A proactive and strategic thinker with a passion for business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Technical skills: Excellent negotiation and sales skills combined with a good understanding of project management.
  • Problem-solving ability: Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and solve complex commercial challenges.
  • Language proficiency: Excellent command of Dutch, French, and English, both spoken and written.
  • Team player: A team-oriented professional who enjoys collaborating with other departments to develop integrated solutions.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to visit clients in Flanders and Wallonia. A centrally located home base is an advantage.

Which location can I work at?

With more than 25 offices spread across Flanders and Wallonia, we focus on proximity for our employees and clients. So there is definitely an office near you. We strive to make our offices easily accessible by public transport or by car.

Our teams often have a "home base" or work on specific days when the team is present at a specific location. Are you looking for a familiar workplace? Are you a bit of an adventurer and like to meet other colleagues and visit different offices? It's all possible. No procedures or complex login processes. You are welcome at any office.
