Ready to make an impact in the Sweco projects as a Lighting Designer?
As a Lighting Designer at Sweco, you will be responsible for designing and realizing high-quality artificial lighting concepts for various projects across various sectors. You will work closely with architects, engineers and other stakeholders to develop creative and functional lighting solutions that meet the specific needs and wishes of our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing conceptual presentations and plans.
- Assessing project requirements and creating lighting proposals.
- Coordinate and align with project teams and external partners.
- Carrying out lighting studies and technical calculations.
- Offer advice on lighting control systems for construction documentation
- Direct communication with customers and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
What we look for in a lighting designer
- A passion for light, design, and architecture.
- At least 4-5 years of related experience in lighting design.
- Experience with lighting calculation software (DIALux).
- Experience with additional software such as Photoshop, Indesign, Revit, Autocad, and the Microsoft office suite is a benefit.
- In-depth knowledge of lighting techniques, lighting systems and luminaires.
- Creative thinking skills and an eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch, French and English and the ability to work in a team.
- Proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
- Willing to traveling to projects and offices around Belgium and Luxemburg.
- you enjoy sketching and sharing ideas visually.
